From farm and forest to healthcare
Why a medicinal plant’s path from a hillside to a user is a chain of records, not a slogan.
General education, not a diagnosis or emergency care. Medical disclaimer.

A plant can be wild, cultivated, or both. Those are different responsibilities. Wild plants need a reason not to harvest them. Cultivated plants need proof that the seed or cutting is the species it claims to be.
Healthcare, if it comes later, depends on that identity. This essay does not name a disease or a product that “works”.
Three different plants
- A wild plant. The first question is conservation, not a buyer.
- A cultivated plant. The first question is whether the planting material is the species it claims to be.
- A traded material with only a common name. The first question is identity.
